The Cranbrook Conservation Area Appraisal SPD sets out to clearly identify what it is about the character or appearance of the conservation area that should be preserved or enhanced. It will be a key document in maintaining character and promoting quality of development proposals. It also highlights particular issues and threats to the character of the conservation area and therefore potential actions for improvement. A minor review of the Conservation Area boundary is also proposed.
The draft document has been produced in collaboration with Cranbrook Conservation Area Advisory Committee and local amenity groups.
